Blog 9: Changes to My Study Program
Hello everyone. In my experience in the career of Theory and History of Art I can say that there is much to fix. In the case of the program, perhaps there are many things to change, but the most important of all is the infamous CFBT course, in which I literally learned nothing and it seems that the only requirement to pass is patience. This is a course where students from all arts majors are mixed to teach general art history classes, the problem is that the number of students for the course is excessive, it is not even divided into two sections, so you even have to sit on the floor when going to class and sometimes some had to look standing from the entrance of the class. The evaluations are group assignments made up of 10 people, that is, we all know how difficult it is to coordinate a job between 4 people equally ... So a group of 10 just doesn't work, the only thing that justifies a group this large is that it will be easier for teachers to review fewer assignments, but this idea does not take into account the stress load of students to meet a deadline in just one hour. It is impossible to concentrate with all the noise there is due to the number of students there are, you practically have to yell at each other to be able to understand each other. Perhaps the idea of the course is that it is a more "relaxed" experience compared to the other courses, but honestly, I would rather write a 30-page essay in a week than do a job with 10 people again in just one hour without having learned anything at all.

I had already forgotten my hate for this subject.
