Blog 3: Favorite music band/ artist / kind of music

Hello everyone. First of all I want to mention that I don't have any group or singer that I'm very passionate about, personally I enjoy different genres and every day I could have a new favorite. But I think Jamiroquai could be considered one of my favorite bands, since it's one of the groups that I always listen to again without getting bored. This is a British Funk / Acid Jazz group led by Jason Kay. My favorite songs from this group are Canned Heat, Cosmic Girl, and, of course, Virtual Insanity. 




I first met this band by listening to Virtual Insanity, a meaningful song with an interesting video clip, which I watch occasionally giving me the same great feeling. In the case of Cosmic Girl and Canned Heat, they are songs that make me want to dance even if I'm not very good at it, but their disco overtones make them catchy songs that are very enjoyable at a party. Other genres of music that I like are rock, metal, classical, electro swing, etc. But I think that among all that I can like, Jamiroquai is the best for me.

Blog 9: Changes to My Study Program

Hello everyone. In my experience in the career of Theory and History of Art I can say that there is much to fix. In the case of the program, perhaps there are many things to change, but the most important of all is the infamous CFBT course, in which I literally learned nothing and it seems that the only requirement to pass is patience. This is a course where students from all arts majors are mixed to teach general art history classes, the problem is that the number of students for the course is excessive, it is not even divided into two sections, so you even have to sit on the floor when going to class and sometimes some had to look standing from the entrance of the class. The evaluations are group assignments made up of 10 people, that is, we all know how difficult it is to coordinate a job between 4 people equally ... Blog 6: Post Graduate Studies

Hi everyone! Personally, I am not interested in a postgraduate degree in relation to my career, therefore I believe that I will take advantage of this instance to talk about another career that I would like to study if I have the possibility. I am currently studying art theory and history, so it won't be a surprise to say that I would like to study history as such. I have always liked to know about the events of the past, I have a good memory with the dates and relevant data, so it would be very interesting to study this. It would not be a completely different career from what I am studying now, since I could better understand the historical context in which the different works of art were made, perhaps finding more certain meanings and relationships thanks to the expanded knowledge of the different times.
